And feel free to look around here. I've written a futuristic urban fantasy called Smitten Image. Lily Barnett, a drifty but brilliant artist who is hopeless at love, stumbles on a magic shop and drinks a love potion. Her magic sparks to life, creating chaos and mayhem around her. Not even her handsome best friend and neighbor, Daniel, can help her. Rogue powers, mischance, dark secrets, pelican mini-lights quoting poetry and painted portraits coming to life all turn Lily's once simple life upside down...

“You will want to curl up on Lily Barnett's sagging sofa for a cup of tea, remind her to feed the fish, and watch her magical world unfold around you. A thoroughly welcome and refreshing take on the classic romance novel. Read it and be transported...” says Tin L.
“Magic--Excitement--Exquisite Writing! Pam B. Morris knows how to write. Her words pull you in and make you feel as if you're living in the world she's created. It's a joy to read and I couldn't wait to see what happened.--then was so sad when I'd read the last word.” Review by Celtic Moon Girl

 Starving in a Winter Wonderland

It’s the phone, are you listening,
I’ve a rant and it’s blistering.
My swimsuits too tight,
I’m dieting tonight,
Starving in a winter wonderland.

Gone away are my thin clothes,
Here to stay, strange new fat rolls,
Cabbage and greens,
Peas and some beans,
Starving in a winter wonderland.

On the treadmill I can break a sweat now
Pretending I can run a marathon,
Yes, I look a lot like a big milk cow
I’m confused I will not lose what I put on.

Later on, I’ll conspire
To eat cupcakes with desire,
Then face off the scale,
Hit Walmart's BIG sale,
Starving in a winter wonderland

When I’m thin, I’ll buy new clothes
Spend my time paintin’ small toes,
I’ll wear nothing much, get by eatin’ slush,
Shrinking in a winter wonderland!

Wacky Christmas Karaoke Carolling during Holiday Gifts of Love Blog Hop!

http://carrieannbloghops.blogspot.com/
Hi, I'm the wacky, whimsical and way off planet author of Smitten Image, a futuristic urban fantasy about a drifty artist who is a walking disaster in life. And in love...

“As charming as Harry Potter, this wonderfully, magical novel put a smile on my face from beginning to end. I fell in love with Pam B. Morris's poetic voice, turns of phrases and magical cast of characters.”
Sharon Clare, author of Love of Her Lives and Rhapsody.

“SMITTEN IMAGE is such a creative and unique take on witchcraft, psychic powers, and magic. I highly recommend it to those looking for something a little bit different and a whole lot of awesome!” Erin Richards, author of Wicked Paradise and Chasing Shadows.

“I could not put Smitten Image down, a fast-paced ride through a futuristic world filled with magic, art, and mischief.”
Moriah Densley, Author of Song for Sophia and The Valkyries Guardian.

But during this adventurous and whimsical  Holiday Gifts of Love Blog Hop, you and I are singing Karaoke together. Classic Christmas songs with smashing new lyrics by me! So here's "Santa Baby"... Ready? If I can, so can you. Let's go for it!!

Santa Baby... my style

Santa baby, slip a sweet guy under the tree,
For me.
I’ve been so lonely too long,
Santa baby, so bring me some new cutie tonight.

Santa baby, six foot two with blue eyes,
Just my size,
I’d be so easy to please,
Santa Baby, so bring me someone hunky tonight.

Think of all the cuddlin’ I’ve missed
Think of all the wasted time expecting a kiss,
Next year, I’d be oh, so nice,
If you brought me someone from my Top Ten list.

Santa honey, I wanna boyfriend
And really that’s not a lot,
Someone easy that makes me hot,
So bring me someone hungry tonight.

Santa sweetie, there’s someone that I really do need, to feed
My fantasies, and make them true,
So bring me someone yummy tonight.

Santa cutie,   he’ll fill my stocking with bliss, oh yes,
He’s my best bedtime dream
Santa cutie, so bring him down my chimney tonight.

He can trim my Christmas tree.
With some fancy lovin’ that he gives for free
I really do believe in him,
Let’s see if he believes in me.

Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, some bling,
To fill my stocking with joy, oh, boy
So bring me someone loaded tonight.
So hurry and deliver tonight.

Hurry, tonight.

Some kinda fun, right? So stop in tomorrow for more Christmas Karaoke silliness! Another classic with new lyrics. Then Hop on over to other awesome blogs listed below.
